The Miami Cuban chain is a scaled-up refinement of the standard Cuban link: each individual link is larger, flatter, and with a more pronounced beveled edge. This enlarged link geometry is specifically optimized for wider chains — at 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm widths, the Miami Cuban proportions look balanced and intentional. Standard Cuban links at those widths can look stretched because the standard link ratio wasn't designed for that scale.

The flat face of each Miami Cuban link is also wider relative to the link's height than a standard Cuban, which means more surface area faces outward. More outward-facing surface means more consistent, intense light reflection across the full width of the chain.
