A pendant is chosen twice: once for the pendant, and once for the chain that carries it.

Scale, Style, and Chain Pairing for Men's Gold Crosses

Men's gold crosses - common questions

How do I know a pendant will fit my chain?

Compare the bail's internal opening with the chain's end fitting or clasp, which is usually the widest part that has to pass through. Where those figures are not given, ask before buying.

What length should the chain be?

Length decides where the pendant sits on the chest rather than whether it fits. Check the specification for the lengths offered.

Does pendant weight matter?

It places load on the chain and concentrates it where the bail meets the chain, which is worth considering when pairing a heavier pendant with a lighter chain.

Is the karat stated?

Check the stated karat in the product details. If it is missing or unclear, ask us before ordering.
